Player to watch: Marc-Antoine Turcotte
has certainly had his struggles in this series. In the first three games he has
allowed 16 goals on 86 shots, including six on 24 shots last night. Can he
bounce back tonight?
Three Things to Know
1. Sam Povorozniouk leads the QMJHL in
playoff scoring with 13 goals and 23 points. Dmytro Timashov is second with 10
goals and 21 points.
2. Thomas Chabot continues to lead QMJHL
defensemen in scoring with two goals and 19 points in 15 games. Shawinigan’s
Cavan Fitzgerald (18 points) and Samuel Girard (17 points) are second and
third, respectively.
3. Are the Sea Dogs a bad third period team
this post-season? They’ve given up 22 third period goals – the most of any
period – and have a minus-eight goal differential.
