Tonight, the Saint John Sea Dogs will
try to do what they couldn’t on Wednesday: eliminate the Acadie-Bathurst Titan.
The Sea Dogs carry a 3-1 series lead heading into tonight’s game five at

Last game: The Titan staved off
elimination with a 6-3 win over the Sea Dogs on Wednesday night at the KC
Irving Regional Centre. Daniil Miromanov had four goals while Christophe Boivin
and Jordan Maher also scored. Matt Murphy, Samuel Dove-McFalls and Nathan Noel
scored for Saint John. Reilly Pickard made 40 saves in the win. Marc-Antoine
Turcotte was pulled after allowing four goals on 12 shots. Alex Bishop made 14
saves in relief.
2015-16 head-to-head: The Sea Dogs
were 6-1-2-0 against the Titan in the regular season while Bathurst went
3-5-0-1 against Saint John.

Player to watch: Before Wednesday’s
game, the Titan had scored four goals in the entire series. On Wednesday,
Daniil Miromanov scored four goals. The Russian forward now has five goals in
this series.

1. Jeffrey Truchon-Viel, with four
assists on Wednesday, now has one goal and five points in this series. Viel had seven goals and an assist in nine games against Saint John
during the regular season.
2. Mathieu Joseph leads Saint John in
playoff scoring with five goals and two assists. Nathan Noel has one goal and
six assists.
3. Will we see another quick opening goal
tonight? On Tuesday the Sea Dogs scored just 41 seconds into the match. On
Wednesday Bathurst scored 21 seconds in.
