CHL BMO MASTERCARD TOP 10 RANKINGS

Toronto, ONT. - The Saint John Sea Dogs ended thier two week run in the CHL top 10 this week. The Sea Dogs fell out of the rankings after a 1-1-1-0 week. Below are this week's rankings:

ROCKET HIRE LAVIGNE
PRESS RELEASE
Charlottetown, P.E.I. - The P.E.I. Rocket today announced the hiring of Éric Lavigne as the team's head coach.
"Éric is a well respected coach who has substantial experience in coaching at the Major Junior Level," said President and Governor Serge Savard Jr. "We are very much looking forward to having him join our organization and lead us into the future."
Lavigne had been the General Manager and Head Coach of the Val-d'Or Foreurs from 2005 to 2009. In 2007, Lavigne led the Foreurs to the President Cup final.
Over the past 17 years, Lavigne has built a very successful coaching resume that includes the following:
- 2005-2009 - Head Coach and General Manager - Val-d'Or Foreurs (QMJHL)
- 2002-2005 - Head Coach and Assistant GM - Quebec Remparts (QMJHL)
- 2000-2002 - Head Coach - Quebec Citadelles (AHL)
- 1999-2000 - Assistant Coach - Quebec Citadelles (AHL)
- 1996-1999 - Head Coach and General Manager - University of Trois-Rivieres Patriots (CIS)
- 1992-1995 - Assistant Coach - Beauport Harfangs (QMJHL)
