CHL DAILY: Who's Hot, Who's Not

The Saint John Sea Dogs are featured twice this week in Rogers Sportsnet's weekly Who's Hot, Who's Not column. The feature, written by Patrick King, takes a weekly look at the Canadian Hockey League and names the best and worst performers.

Here is what King had to say on the Sea Dogs:

Hot player: Nicholas Petersen, Saint John Sea Dogs
The overage forward wasted little time making an impact with his new team. Petersen, who was acquired this summer from Shawinigan as part of the Alex Grant trade, scored three times and added three assists in two games. He scored twice, including the game-tying goal with 10 seconds remaining in regulation against his former team Saturday.

Game of the week: Saint John Sea Dogs vs. Cape Breton Screaming Eagles, Sunday
The Atlantic Division rivals will face off in back-to-back games in Cape Breton this weekend. The Sea Dogs jumped out to an early lead in the division but only three points separate the top five teams. Cape Breton has found ways to win this season but need more from goaltender Roy. The Sea Dogs' offence appears to be clicking now with the addition of Petersen. Divisional games like this will be huge in determining the winner of the Atlantic Division this season.
