The Moncton Wildcats will wear pink in back-to-back games on October 10 and 11. Then they will also participate in PEI's game on October 16 and Saint John's on the 17th.

Saint John has worn pink sweaters during warm-up for the month of October for the past two years but have never worn them in regulation play.

PINK TAKEN TO THE NEXT LEVEL
The Sea Dogs will participate in a very unique Pink in the Rink night on October 24. The Halifax Mooseheads announced today that the Metro Centre ice will be painted pink when the Dogs and Moose clash.

"Last year Pink in the Rink with the Mooseheads was a huge success, and we wanted to raise the bar again this season", stated Mooseheads Vice President of Business Operations Brian Urquhart in a press release. "The entire Organization is looking forward to raising funds and awareness for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation - Atlantic Region."

This will be the second annual Pink in the Rink night in Halifax.

HOFFMAN ITCHING TO RETURN
After receiving hairline fracture in his left foot after he blocked a shot, Mike Hoffman is patiently waiting for a return to the Saint John line-up.

Hoffman has only played in one game with the Sea Dogs after being sent to Saint John by the Ottawa Senators. He got into a scrap with Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Joel Chouinard as the Dogs went on to lose 6-1 to the PEI Rocket on September 23.

The sniper was fitted with a walking foot and had his foot re-examined last Tuesday according to the Telegraph-Journal.

DESPRES FEATURED ON QMJHL WEBSITE
Rog Laplante caught up with Simon Despres in Montreal last Friday and is featured with a video profile on the QMJHL website. The "big horse" talks about his time at Pittsburgh Penguins training camp and his thoughts on the Sea Dogs season.
