Game Day 58: at Halifax

HALIFAX - The Saint John Sea Dogs will look to pull off a major upset tonight at Scotiabank Centre.

The Sea Dogs visit the Eastern Conference leading Halifax Mooseheads this evening at 7 p.m. The Mooseheads have won five straight games while the Sea Dogs have lose five straight.

Saint John lost 10-2 to the Mooseheads on Feb. 12 and 4-0 this past Monday. Including tonight's game, the Dogs and Moose have three meetings remaining this year.

Records: The Sea Dogs are 12-41-2-2 for 28 points (fifth Maritimes, ninth Eastern, 17th QMJHL) while the Mooseheads are 42-12-2-1 for 87 points (first Maritimes, first Eastern, third QMJHL).

Last games: The Sea Dogs and Mooseheads met on Monday afternoon at Harbour Station with Halifax coming out on top, 4-0. Arnaud Durandeau and Brock McLeod each scored twice for Halifax. Cole McLaren made 36 saves in the win. Zachary Bouthillier allowed four goals on 45 shots in the loss.
