RECAP: Sea Dogs lose 1-0

FINAL: Saint John 0, Quebec 1
QUEBEC CITY, Que. - The Saint John Sea Dogs' inability to produce offensively cost them on Friday night at the Videotron Centre.

Saint John recorded just 16 shots on net in a 1-0 loss to the Quebec Remparts. The Sea Dogs have now lost seven straight games heading into the finale of their three-game Quebec road trip on Saturday in Boisbriand.

Andrew Coxhead's goal at 8:04 of the second period proved to be the winner and only goal of the match. Carmine-Anthony Pagliarulo stopped all 16 shots he faced for the shutout.

Zachary Bouthillier made 24 saves in the loss.

SCRATCHES: The Sea Dogs were without forwards Christian Clark, James White and Yohan Plamondon; along with defenseman Charlie DesRoches.

NOTES: Dawson Stairs and Alex Drover remained in the Saint John lineup... Maxim Cajkovic returned to the Saint John lineup after missing Thursday's game. His four-game goal streak came to an end... Benjamin Gagne faced his former team for the first time.

NEXT GAME: The Sea Dogs travel to Boisbriand to take on the Armada at 8 p.m. on Saturday.
