“Sales were great on Tuesday and we were well on our way
to a sellout,” said Sea Dogs President Wayne Long in a release. “But rumours
tend to spread that games are sold out before they actually are. Between
remaining tickets, and the additional tickets released, there were still
roughly 200 seats available as of Thursday morning.”
Tickets to the first two games of this best-of-seven
showdown can be obtained by calling the Harbour Station box office at (506)
657-1234 or by visiting www.tickets.harbourstation.ca.
The Sea Dogs also announced that they have released
approximately 100 tickets that were held according to mandatory Canadian Hockey
League regulations.
Tickets went on sale Tuesday morning at 10am at Harbour Station. Dancing
Brendan and Friend were lined up at 6:30am.
Game 1 will air nationally on Sportsnet. According to a release yesterday, Nick Kypreos, the man involved in the now infamous “Hoobadoo” incident, will be
handling the studio analysis with Darren Millard. RJ Broadhead, Sam Cosentino,
and the great Rob Faulds will all be at Harbour Station.
