The Saint John Sea Dogs and Halifax Mooseheads have
announced the schedule for their first-round playoff series.
There are no surprises in the schedule. It will be a 2-2-1-1-1
format with the series starting Friday night at the Halifax Metro Centre. The
Mooseheads, as the No. 1 seeded team for this year’s post-season, will have
home ice advantage throughout the playoffs.
Halifax, the No. 1 ranked team in the Canadian Hockey
League, went 7-0-1-0 against Saint John this season on their way to tying the
QMJHL record for most wins (58). The Sea Dogs are definitely big time underdogs in this series.
