DETAILS RELEASED ABOUT HOME OPENER

The Saint John Sea Dogs have released several details about its home opener and several other promotional events.

In just over two weeks on Saturday, September. 19 at 7:00 pm, the Sea Dogs will play its third game of the season and first at home. The pre-game festivities include yet another new player entrance, the unveiling of the new mascot, and a tribute to several players who have played for the Sea Dogs in the past four seasons. The Sea Dogs new "RBK EDGE" jerseys are also expected to be unveiled. There has been no announcement about a fan fest before the home opener this season.

In past seasons the Sea Dogs have worn pink jerseys during warm-up during the month of October. This season the team will wear them in a game on October. 17 in support of breast cancer research. Also on the schedule is the annual Halloween Game (Oct. 25), Support Our Troops Day (Nov. 8), Teddy Bear Toss Night (Dec. 5), Hockey Night in Saint John (Feb. 12), La Journée des Francofans (Feb. 21), and Fan Appreciation Day (March 7).

Tuesdays: Toonie Tuesday (according to the Telegraph-Journal, youth tickets only)
Wednesdays: $5.00 upper bowl tickets

Thursdays: Seniors Night- $10.00 tickets to those who are 60+

Fridays: TGIFan-atical*

Saturdays: Sea Dogs Night Out**

Sundays: Family Day- 4 for $40 ticket special, kids play area, post-game autographs

*all Friday and Saturday evening games will feature the 97.3 The Wave Promo Team.

All Other- 7:00 pm

No schedule for promotional give-aways has been released yet.

Single game tickets go on sale tomorrow at the Harbour Station box office.
