Notes: The Sea Dogs are missing three players today from their active roster due to NHL camps: Yann Sauve (Vancouver), Simon Despres (Pittsburgh) , and Mike Thomas (Philadelphia)… the Sea Dogs are also missing Mike Hoffman (Ottawa) and Nick Peterson (Pittsburgh) but neither are listed on the roster… Karel St-Laurent is getting the start in goal, his second straight home opener start… Steven Anthony will be making his 2009-10 season debut… Nicolas Pard is a healthy scratch after being suspended for a “drunken fight” on Tuesday night… this is the fifth home opener in Sea Dogs history.

Station Nation Facts:
- This is the fifth home opener in Sea Dogs history. They are 2-2-0-0 all-time.
- Karel St-Laurent will become the first Sea Dogs goaltender to play in two straight home openers. St-Laurent had a 5-0 shutout against Val-d’Or last season.
- Pre-game festivities for tonight's game begin at 4:00 pm for the second annual fan fest. All fans will receive a free noise maker when entering the building.
- A new player entrance and mascot will be unveiled before the game.
- Several Sea Dogs alumni from the inaugural team will be honored before the game. They include Vincent Lambert, Jeff Caron, Alexandre Labonte Ryan Moore and Mike Neil. Francois “Go-Go” Gauthier is also expected at the game.
- This is the first of a five game home stand for Saint John.
