"It’s frustrating to come close," said Mooseheads defenseman Pascal Amyot to the Chronicle-Herald after a 4-2 loss on Sunday. "It’s even more frustrating than losing 6-1 because we had a shot to win that game. It was just some little mistakes that hurt us. But we have to stay positive. We know that yesterday we played better than we did before and today we played better than we did yesterday so we’re improving every day. It will come eventually."
Amyot, and forward Matt Stoddard are both former Sea Dogs. Amyot was traded last season at the trade deadline for the Mooseheads first overall European draft selection. Stoddard left the club this summer in search of ice time.
Amyot, an overage defenseman with the herd, where's an "A" on his sweater (seen in picture). In his two in a half seasons in Saint John he had seven points and 31 points in 149 games.
Stoddard, now a 19 year old who has always fell short of expectations, has watched the last two games from the press box along with Jessyko Bernard, Sawyer Hannay and Alex MacDonald.
The Mooseheads sit dead last in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League with a winless record in six games. One of those games included a 6-1 loss at Harbour Station to Saint John.

Both look to turn the Mooseheads fortune around on Thursday against Rimouski.
