SAINT JOHN – The Sea Dogs have officially traded forward Anthony Salemi to the Chicoutimi Sagueneens.
In exchange, the Sea Dogs receive a 12th-round
pick in the 2017 QMJHL Entry Draft.
Salemi, an 18-year old from Brooklin, Ont., was among the first round of cuts at Sea Dogs training camp – despite being one of the top point producers during the five rookie games.

Last season with the Ontario Junior ‘A’ Hockey League’s Newmarket Hurricanes, Salemi recorded 13 goals and 19 assists in 47 games. Elite Prospects has him playing with the Cobourg Cougars this season.
