The Sea Dogs defenseman recorded two
assists in a 6-2 victory over the Czech Republic at the Summer Showcase event
in Calgary last night.
His first helper came in the second period
when he assisted on a Brayden Point goal. His second assist came in the third
when his point shot was deflected in by Dylan Strome.

This was the second game Chabot appeared
in during the showcase. He was held pointless in a 7-1 victory over the Czechs
on Tuesday.

LeBlanc opened the scoring last night, netting a goal at 11:05 of the first
period.

LeBlanc also appeared in Tuesday’s game but was held pointless as well.
Meanwhile, current Sea Dogs d-man Jakub
Zboril also got in on the scoring action last night, netting a goal at 3:17 of
the third period.

Zboril finished the showcase with one
goal in two Czech loses.
Chabot now heads to Saint John training camp while Olivier LeBlanc is off to Cape Breton Screaming Eagles camp. According to the Sea Dogs, Zboril isn’t expected in Saint John until September.
